PortSports Tournament Division will be hosting a summer series of competitive grass tournaments!
****PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN WATER/HYDRATION****
This tournament will contain Reverse Co-ed Doubles (women's net) & Co-Ed Quads (men's net).
Levels will be based off of registration numbers (projected Novice/GVO Doubles, Advanced Doubles & Intermediate Quads.
Quads will occur on a men's net and you must have a minimum of 1 male & 1 female on each team.
We will be presenting multiple levels/forms of volleyball, to include all levels of playing ability. There will always be at minimum 1 net of advanced play.
** GVO/Novice: Good Vibes Only- a level comparable to current Port sports outdoor rules. (No net contact ever. Lifts will be called heavily)
** Intermediate: GVO rules + no hands on serve receive (platform passing or "bump" it to the setter). No Tipping.
** Advanced: True outdoor rules. No setting over the set. No open hand serve receive. No tipping. Block +3. A ball must be hard driven in order to use your hands/fingers on the first ball over the net.
** Co-ed: Men & women on a men's height net.
** Reverse Co-ed (RCO): Played on a women's net. Men need to leave from the 10 ft line in order to hit the ball.

Cost: $25 per player (Cash Only - Pay at Check In)
Estimated Timeframe:
- 8:30 Check-In opens
- 9:00 Rules Meeting
- 9:15 First Serve
- 4:00 Estimated End of Pool Play
- 5:00 Estimated end of Payoffs
Pool Play:
5 Team pools: 2 games to 21, switching every 7 total points scored, totaling 8 games played.
4 Team pools: 2 games to 25, switching every 7 total points scored, totaling 6 games played.
Playoffs: The top 2 teams from each pool are always guaranteed to break.
*** In some cases (based on registration numbers) additional teams will break. This will be announced every tournament and posted on your pool sheets (Google Sheets).***
Prizes: These will vary from swag, to cash and even trophies
Items to consider bringing:
-WATER/hydration
-A Towel
-Swimsuit (there are bathrooms)
-A Bluetooth speaker
-A Volleyball (The yellow AVP ball will be the â??netballâ?? and will be used for playoffs) to pepper with
-An EZ UP or some sort of shade
-An umbrella to shade yourself while working

-Sunscreen
-A Positive attitude
-A cell phone to update your pool sheet for Google Sheets
-Food/Snacks
