- The Banff Mountain Film Fest is back again on Tuesday Feb. 16 at the South Portland Auditorium (in the high school). Click here for the website. They haven't updated the film list yet from last year's fest, but there's generally a variety of 5-50 minute long films having to do with various outdoor activities (last year had base jumping, mountain biking, skiing, rock climbing, etc). You can get tickets (should be under $20) in advance at Arlberg, Eastern Mountain Sports, and some other places. I advise getting tickets early if you want to go, because it sells out. Check it out, it's a good time.
