Description:
Participants will learn some basic jazz dance building blocks, while mastering a sample musical theater dance audition piece, at as slow and thorough a pace as a participant needs. This 2 hour class includes:
- 10 minute warm up.
- Brief education of dance basics (alignment, balance, etc.).
- Emphasis on one-on-one explanations, answers, corrections, etc.
- Sample musical theater dance audition routine.
Difficulty level:
This class is meant for the true dance-beginner! Unlike other studios, little to no previous experience in dance is required and all self-proclaimed "non-dancers" are encouraged to join us.

- Enter Door 4 (next to the freight dock) and enjoy the walk up 3 flights of stairs as part of your warm up!
- Extensive parking available in front of the building and in neighboring public lots.
Requested attire:
Please wear clothing that will not limit your movement and shoes that are secured to your feet (no sandals, flip flops, crocs, clogs, etc.). Out of respect for the expensive dance floor, please change out of your street shoes before entering the classroom! "Dance shoes" are not required; tennis shoes, keds, and sneakers are acceptable.
